Boston
It's been hard to know what to say about Boston. So many people called or texted to see if we were okay or if Emily was okay. Were we at Boston? I felt grateful for the outpouring of concern and it was great to be able to say, "Yes, we're safe." But I can't stop thinking of the people who can't say that. The victims who lost their lives, the victims who were hurt so horrifically, the victims who were there and experienced the horror and chaos. Unfortunately we're all victims in this one. It really hit close to home. As so many of you I have stood in those spots watching the finish of the Boston Marathon. I cannot imagine the feelings and fear of everyone there. I can't stop thinking about it and am surprised by those who can. Emily expressed a lot of my feelings really well and I would recommend going to read her post on Boston. Take care all my running friends.

This really hit home this week. I can't shake it. Emily did a great job of summarizing it. Glad you all are ok. Glad we are ok. So sad and mad for my running commrades who had to experience this.
Yes.
Too close. Even for us on the other side of the world. I'm so glad that everyone that I know virtually is fine.
Thanks for linking to Emily's post - she put into words what so many of us were feeling and thinking.
I was thinking about you this week, especially after Emily's post. I've never even run Boston and my mom was just so worried for me...I can't even imagine how hard it must be for you to think about it having been there to watch Emily. <3
Scary times for sure. Nice to see they caught the bombers so quickly.
