Our Wednesday Ride is Growing

First week - 3 of us
Second week - 4 of us
Third week - Just me (well it didn't grow that week)
Fourth week - 6 of us

We start in a new spot.

First we ride by Otter Creek

Then we're riding alongside Lake Champlain
You can see the New York Adirondacks on the
other side of Lake Champlain
We continue down Lake Road

Eventually arriving at a camp on the lake

Once again we couldn't ask for a nicer day.

By the time we got back to the car, I had ridden 32 miles
I am MUCH more tired than last week after 36.
Could be because I rode last night, ran this morning and then biked.
It certainly is a good feeling tired though!

No wonder your group is growing with all that gorgeous scenery to enjoy. And no wonder you were tired. That's a lot of exercise.

It looks lovely. You make me want to replace my stolen bike as soon as I can!

I keep saying it but what a lovely area you live in. It's cool that your bike group is growing, must be fun for you all.

Let me know if you liked the Karen Rose book when you finished it. I've got one more to read and start in it after I finished the book I'm currently reading and the new Karin Slaughter.

I found out that Karen Rose wrote a lot of books but so far only 4 of them are translated into Dutch. I do read an English book occasionally but prefer them in Dutch so hope they will translate more.

Heck, I would do that ride for the scenery alone!

That's great! Looks like a lovely ride, and how nice that your little group is growing. Lately I've been loving that tired legs feeling too. It's been a while for me that I've enjoyed that feeling instead of dreaded.

I can't decide which is prettier, all your Rhode Island pictures or all your Vermont pictures!!

I hate all the snow, but my goodness, your summers are stunning!

So glad you have some biking partners now!
