I am so happy for all of you, especially Andrea and Emily. Andrea I am so glad you are proud proud proud as what Em did yesterday is soooo awesome! The training involved is unbelievable but she did it and look at her now! Thanks for the updating tweets or I would not have known where she was as the Ironman tracking was a flop. Congratulations!!!

Yeah! We all knew she could do it. I've been reading all your posts lately but haven't had time to comment. I love that the two of you road the run course and that you got funny looks from on lookers b/c you were on a cross bike. I also loved your Q&A post especially the answers about how you started off walking and run/walking and how your journey has progressed. And finally, I am very close with my family as well and I always think it's so great when I see other families close as well since I know how much I value my parents and all that they have done and continue to do for me!

Yay!!! Huge Congrats to you both!!!!

I just got home from the ADK, my in laws live two hours south of LP. My uncle actually has a condo in LP down the road from Mirror Lake Inn, but he always rents it out race weekend. His guest book has notes from various people who have stayed there for the race, they're really cool to read.
