VCM

Race report to come later.  Just want to say this was a fantastically fun race!  I did much better than I expected and had a truly awesome time running with my kids. My time was 2:07:24 with a pace of 9:40 much better than the Personal Worst I expected.  Excellent excellent time was had by all of us.  Come race VCM!
Before the race.....

Emily and Jameson about two minutes into the race.
I was so pleased I got this shot.

Love the outfits. I especially love Jameson's sunnies. That boy really knows how to colour coordinate.

I love seeing the pictures of the races you do with your kids. It's so cool that you can all share it! And if I lived closer, you'd totally have me sold on the VCM.

Congrats on a great race experience! I started to follow your blog a few months ago but have not commented before. I find you inspiring and a great role model. My husband and I live on the CT shore right now, but hope to be living in Vermont in another 10-15 years. The Burlington area is one of my favorite places in the world. My husband and I take turns doing the KBVCM since we have youngish children. It was his turn this year. My boys and I were cheering like crazy with cowbells right by the yellow balloon in one of your pics on Church Street :). It was a fantastic day. I look forward to following your adventures. Good luck in your upcoming tri.
