Wind? Cold? Snow? Yes to all 3! I'm in Trouble!

Looking out the hotel window at SNOW on the beach!

I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW COLD IT IS HERE!

I CAN NOT BELIEVE I AM RUNNING A HALF TOMORROW IN THESE TEMPS!

I need some reminders of all those days I ran outside in God only knows what temperatures this winter.  I never let the temp keep me inside on the weekend.  I can do it, right?  But right now I am questioning my sanity.

It is so cold and windy and miserable.  Tomorrow I will be running not 3, not 4, not 5 but 13.1 miles in this!  And that is after standing around waiting for the race to start! Easily the worst part.

I need to get rid of these negative feelings!  I need to change my attitude.  I am spending lots of money to do this!

I know I can do it but I'd like to have some fun while doing it!

By tomorrow morning I will be ready!

This pic doesn't begin to convey how cold I am!

Maybe this is why you've had all the cold and snow to run in. It's nothing new. You can do it. And you know you'll warm up once you're moving. And it'll be a good story once you're through it...there have been so many times in the past year I've stuck with something just because of that thought! :)

If it wasn't for your coat, I'd think that was a beautiful white sand beach. If only, huh?

Good luck!

Think warm, think warm, think warm - well at least they say autosuggestion works.
Good luck tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Will that help?

Cold is better than too hot! You know you'll be fine after the start and 10 minutes of running!

Have a GREAT RACE and make sure to suck up the entire experience!

You're tough! You can do it!

Urgh! Remember that a few months ago you couldn't run at all. Imagine how you would feel if you were injured and couldn't run. You have come so far - you WILL enjoy it! Wrap up warm and good luck!

It was really cold here yesterday - and crazy high winds. Hope today is better for you. Remember you like(d) the cold. The scenery will be beautiful and I predict you will have a great race (run).

When you say it's cold, then it must be REALLY cold. Yikes.
