Yup! T's back!
T's back running with me after 3 weeks and
this is T's back! (Can you see
why I teach third graders? Their humor
is wearing off on me.)
My runs this weekend were:
Great because T was back and we had tons of catching up to do. It took both runs to properly catch up.Confidence boosting because the longer distance was very doable. The last 4 miles were the fastest.
Cold - see above. No narrative needed.
Best part of weekend: non running - birthday shopping with my son. We didn't find much in the way of presents but had a great time together and managed to find some sweet treats as we were shopping. Fresh Market has the best cookies in the world.
Back on one of my favorite roads. The last
time I was on this road I was freezing my
fingers (as well as everything else) on my bike.
Pretty but cold.

It was FREEZING this weekend.
I'm in Western Maine- not all up in the boondocks of TI-84 or one of those other nameless towns up Nawth.
There are some fun races in Portland- they always have a huge turnout for the 4-miler on Thanksgiving. The 4 on the 4th in Bridgton is wicked popular too and draws a very large/fast crowd.
All of my longer distances have been run out of State. This is not a bad thing because what Maine has in charm, lobster and pine trees we LACK in flat terrain.
But you are from VT so you would totally rock any Maine races...
Stay warm!
Looks like a VERY beautiful day! I see signs of Spring :-)
Hilarious! Installation has definitely failed...did someone piss Spring off or something?! Sheesh :)
Yay for T's back ;) ...so nice that you have your running partner back!
Looks like you got some solid runs in despite the cold! And I like your 3rd grade humor! :)
So much more fun running with company. I'm glad T's back.
Too Doggone Cold! I would throw in the hat by now FOR SURE!!! Good to have company to help with the lingering winter :-)
I don't know how you created that opening graphic, but I love it. Wish we could send some of our sunshine and warmth your way.
You're able to see some (brown) grass! Spring is coming!
Ha, ha! We should have Spring fully installed sometime this week, I can't wait!
Keep trying to install spring :) We need it! Great job on your runs this weekend!
I thought I had it cold in my area...you win... :)
Great weekend running! And love the graphic!!!
How'd you run 12 in that wind??
Are you installing it on a PC or a Mac? Mac would be much faster, you know?
And you know what will happen in a week or so? You guys will hit temps in the 80's.
We got some snow here in Colorado this morning. Not liking it one bit.
Great job on your runs!
As for your question on our latest post, yes....unfortunately
Well, even though cold, the pics are still beautfiul. But, that said I would be happy to not see snow again for at least 10 months!! It snowed here again too. Just a light dusting, but enough is enough. Great job on your runs.
Here the installation did not fail even if now it is rainy.
Nice pics of a beautiful place to run through.
Anyway my wife is a 3rd grade teacher too.
BRRRRRR! Glad you had a great long run, in spite of the cold temps... Thank goodness it was beautiful and sunny.
That graphic at the top made me laugh out loud. It sounds cold, but looks beautiful. I'm glad that you had an awesome long run with T!
18 miles in 2 days? That's impressive from anyone, but considering your PF a few months ago, it's fantastic!
Very pretty and good job getting out there :)
That picture of Spring is perfect! I love it! In fact, I wish I had found it first!
I'm praying for spring for all of us. It's been a LONG March...
I'm with you, C'Mon Spring!!! GET HERE & STAY HERE!
Spring seems to be lost this year!
Oh, BRRR. We had snow, but at least our temps weren't so cold. So glad you're running partner's back to keep you company. I had a running buddy on my last long run, and it made SUCH a difference!
I had to laugh at the picture at the start of your post.
It's time Spring is coming your way Andrea, enough is enough.
Great job on the runs this weekend and happy for you T.'s back.
Spring is installing... hahahaha, I like that! I wish it would hurry up. Sooo cold this weekend here too, but at least the sun was out.
Looks like lots more positive than negative on the runs so WOOHOO!
LOL, it's important to keep that youthful mindset :) beautiful pics, although chilly looking brrr. Love the Loading bar. Hurry up spring!!
have a great week!
