"Buy yourself a dog.
Name it Clue,
then you'll have one."
Wish I had said it first but now I've got to wait for the perfect opportunity to use it.
2. I only went to the gym once this week. I had a great speed workout which surprised me. Maybe one of these days I will have MY speed back. Today I had my bag all packed for the gym but when I walked out of the building it was pretty nice out so once again I drove home instead and hit the road. Absolutely the right decision.
3. Happy St. Patrick's Day! I wore my race shirt - love it when I have a legit reason to wear a t-shirt to work. I wore my bright green shoes too. When I picked up my bib last Friday in DC there were some St. Patrick's Day tattoos to take. Well, I may have taken
Reading - Well, I recently finished the new Jodi Picoult book. I enjoyed it a lot.
Watching - I am almost at the end of Season 3 in Lost. In fact I am going to have to stop blogging and go watch some.
Have a great weekend. I want to read about lots of good runs and weekends. I am sure I will have them too but I also need to work on report cards. Not so sure I want it to be nice on Saturday while I am stuck doing them.

Just getting all caught up!
Glad you had an entertaining confrence - that makes the time pass so much better!
LOVED the recap of your race with Em, and I'm so jealous you two run together! Very cool mother-daughter bonding ;)
And running throught he Zoo and all the monuments is very special - I need to do that some day!
And HOLY COW that was a lot of snow! You are such a trooper for getting out there - heck, you climbed a mountain of snow to do it! Very proud!
Hope parent confrences went well, they are some lucky families to have you teaching their children ;)
Ooooh, you know I need some Irish stickers!!! :)
Co-teaching hasn't hit Colorado, not sure it will. Massive budget cuts and teachers and admin jobs being cut, so I wonder if co-teaching wouldn't be more economical.
Enjoy your weekend, lady!! Looking forward to what the weekend has in store for ya!
Looks like I caught up to you...I am almost done with season 3. Isn't it getting weirder and weirder?
You are a cool teacher for giving your students temp tattoos!
Love that comic may have to print it out and put it on my treadmill.
Ha ha - love the line about buying a dog and naming it Clue - teenagers can be so devastatingly sarcastic, can't they?
"Maybe one of these days I will have MY speed back." Oh, how I dream about that one some days! But then I think about all the adventures I have during ultras and forget about speed again. Have a great weekend!
Thanks for being a teacher! I am sure you don't get paid enough and you are probably not told thanks enough! :)
So fun wearing green runners and a green race tee to work! I'm sure the kiddos loved those tattoos.
ps- I've nominated you for stylish blogger award.. forgot to tell you the other day :o) see my post from tuesday the 15th! :)
I love that saying :)
Sounds like a very interesting conference!
And when the weather is great there's nothing better than go out and run.
I went to a great presentation on co-teaching, was so fired up, and my enthusiasm was really squelched by the lack of receptiveness by the regular ed teachers in my grade level. I think it has huge possibilities in many cases. One problem in our school district is that we have a high special ed population, and if you have a number of special ed students in a classroom for co-teaching, all of a sudden the percentage of sp. ed is too high for the room to count as a "regular ed" environment. Sigh.
I hope your report cards go smoothly and you have a wonderful weekend!
Lobe the lines about a clue--will definitely have to use that. Cute tats! Have a great weekend!
Good luck putting those report cards together. I have one more week until I need to start working on mine :( Boo!
Love the CLUE note! Sorry so late, hope you had a Happy ST. Patty's day!!!
For a second there I thought you got a puppy : )
hope your weekend was great, I'm still eating leftover corned beef!
