Finally........a nice running day in Vermont

I don't know what the temperature was today but it was glorious. I ditched the plan to go to the gym and came home and ran a different route.  The heavy rains and the snow melt have made the river fast, high and loud.  It has been more than 24 hours since it was raining but it is still raging.  As I drove home along the river I decided I wanted to run that route, not one I often take because it is hilly has more traffic. I only needed one layer today and I was in heaven!  What a day!  A stressful day at work erased by a fabulous s run!  Yeah for my sanity salvation.

My friendly river looking not so safe today

The falls.....not as much of a drop as sometimes
because the river is so high

snow melt coming off the mountain

more roiling river

Back home......stress has vanished

That river is very, very pretty!! One thing Colorado lacks is water so whenever I see something like that I am awe! Glad things are melting and warming up for you - finally!

And thanks for the very nice comment on my blog...this has been just a tad bit frustrating and stressful!

Woo-hoo for wearing only one layer!!! There IS hope for warm weather for you! Ok, so that wild water scares me about as much as snakes nipping at your heels does to you!!! :-)

You deserve to OD on vitamin D! Funny how you are just getting down to one layer and I am already wishing I could run naked. Hello humidity. (don't worry I won't run naked)
