Both of these are from Monday's ride!
Tuesday - another fantastic ride! Another appointment! More time to ride when the appointment was done! It was cool. I stopped soon after I started to add my bright green jacket and it was just what I needed. Now I felt toasty warm! Although that feeling didn't last ( I could have used my gloves) I certainly wasn't cold enough to ruin my ride even one little bit! It was so sunny and gorgeous on my favorite bike path! Yeah again for beautiful fall days. I said I was going to do one photo per ride but I can't choose so here are my photos from Tuesday!
This is the one - my favorite fall picture - it's my screen saver now and looks great blown up on the screen! I may need to make some cards with this one.
Wednesday -- Today I rode to work. It was 32 degrees when I left home. I was fine except for my fingers near the end. I thought it would be warm when I rode home but I had stuff to catch up on and left work later than usual. I rode past my road for a longer ride and for most of it there was no sun as it was on it's way to setting behind the mountain. I wore shorts - yeah not so bright - but had on all the same top layers as in the morning. I am hoping to ride my bike to work one more day this week.
Thursday - Another day riding to work. This morning it was about 28 degrees. Again the face and the fingers were a little cold, nothing too bad! Tonight when I rode home I had too many clothes on - both because I was cold yesterday and because my pack was full! I was trying to just use the pack on my bike but think I really need the backpack too. I was beat once I got home. Tomorrow I drive as I have a PT appointment after school. In fact I need to leave early for the THIRD time this week! Yikes!
Plan to ride twice this weekend although Saturday looks rainy. Have a fun route plotted out for Sunday!

Your photos are so beautiful! As a recent transplant to CA, I'm really missing all the bright foliage from the midwest. :)
Those views are just incredible. No wonder you love it out there!
You are becoming quite the photographer! And again, you live in such beautiful country! I'm jealous of your rain and cool temps ;)
Those photos are amazing!
I'm always in awe of the beauty where you run and bike. You are really lucky.
Very Nice! The long afternoon shadows cast in the fall make for interesting contrast in the photos. Glad you have great places to ride!
Those photos are just gorgeous - the beautiful foliage against that blue sky is magic.
Beautiful fall photos!
You live in a beautiful place! Those images are great and way to go on the rides. Looks to me like you are making the best out of your non-running time. Kudos to you!
Absolutely beautiful photos! Wow, I can't believe it is already so cold there. A lot different from what we have here. Enjoy your weekend!
Beeyootiful! How could you not ride? I think I need to schedule some appts so I can get out of work early to ride ;) lol
Wouldn't you wish these colors stayed for a couple more months? At least I hope for you the weather stays nice.
Fantastic photos.
Love your photos...You're lucky to be able squeeze in the bike rides (before the snow) Ha ha! How's the heel?
Those photos are absolutely beautiful! What an amazing view you have.
Enjoy your weekend of riding!
You have such amazing view. Is the sky ALWAYS this blue over in your part of the country? Ours is never quite as blue. Maybe, the sky is always bluer on the other side.
*So*envious*! Beautiful...keep posting them. Loving seeing them from all way down south in Orlando. :-)
Thanks for your thoughts on the slower runners post this week, and for taking time to visit the links - in between bike rides, I guess!
You need to enter some of these photos in a contest! You got my vote:) Have a great weekend!
