Those teacher gifts are wonderful. I miss that about 3rd grade. Almost everyone brought me a gift on the last day. This year, in 5th grade, I didn't get anything :( Oh well.

I love these type of posts! I am not really surprised about any of the things that you mentioned in your lists. SNAKES is on the top of my list too...this made me smile:) I don't think that I will ever like them but I will respect them from a far!

Great post! Loved reading your list of authors and books (a lot of familiar ones in there!) and the teacher gifts! So glad you put a bottle of wine in there - I often give a bottle of wine if I just don't know what else to give and hope it's appreciated.

Oh so cool! You have now become my new blogging friend :)! Such a neat idea. I have put off starting my own running blog (do have one for my stitching) but I think that toda may be the DAY to start documenting my running on line! I noticed that you want to do the Quebec marathon. I'm doing the half this year...kind of scared to to do the whole and since I have never done half, figured that I could check out the course! (I've already done 7 marathons, recently Ottawa in May). Nice meeting you!
